EcoVadis assessment

EcoVadis asks for Scope 1 and 2 totals, the method, and supporting documents, and scores the quality of the evidence. The ledger produces the figures and the documents from the same records, with the factor sources named.

What they ask for: reported emissions, the calculation method, and documentary evidence that the figures are yours.

What the ledger answers

3 of 5, one disclosed, one outside scope. Every line below is either produced from your own records, produced with a method we disclose, or absent and stated as absent.

EcoVadis scores evidence quality. A versioned report with cited factors is the evidence.

Answer it once, reuse it

The point of a ledger rather than a spreadsheet is that this request and the next one come out of the same records. Answering a customer questionnaire is most of the work of answering an EcoVadis assessment, a bank annex and a tender clause, because the figures, the method and the evidence are already assembled and already traceable.
